Package #3 is the popular pick if you want enough practice to cover the basics, build comfort on real Staten Island streets, and drill the maneuvers the road test grades on (parallel parking, three-point turns, lane changes) with additional lessons available if you need more practice. If you know upfront you're going to want ten, Package #3 saves money versus buying them one at a time.
Staten Island pickup covers the first 9 lessons; the final lesson and road test meet at our office. You can also select office-start lessons at 97 New Dorp Plaza. The regular pickup rate is $20 more per lesson; the selected package card shows its current regular or sale total. The 5-hour pre-licensing class can be in or out of the package. Out saves you $25 if you already meet the DMV pre-licensing requirement.
Too many lessons? Package #2 is 5, Package #1 is 2. Not enough? Package #4 is 15 and the Beginner Package is 25 plus a highway lesson. Ten is what we recommend if you haven't driven much but aren't starting from zero.
Packages are valid for three years, provided you stay in communication with us and we agree on clear expectations. We understand that life happens. If you need to pause, contact our office so we can agree on a plan for resuming. An extended absence without communication does not guarantee that you can resume lessons automatically.
The right number of lessons depends on your experience and progress. Your instructor will assess your skills and recommend further practice if needed. Additional lessons can be purchased separately.

Yes. Students must have a valid learner permit and meet the DMV requirements for their age and license class. We provide a dual-control training vehicle. Junior permit practice and junior license driving have different restrictions in NYC; ask the office about your situation before booking.
Package #3 includes one road-test attempt. If you need a retest, contact our office to arrange another appointment and confirm the cost of the car and any additional lessons. The Beginner Package (#5) is the package that lists a second road-test attempt.
Yes. Licensed drivers can book private 45-minute refresher lessons or a separate 60-minute highway lesson. Tell the office which skills you want to practice.
