25 driving lessons, a highway lesson, the DMV road test appointment, and our car on test day. It's the biggest package we offer at our Staten Island driving school. Built for people who've never driven. If you've been behind the wheel before, one of the smaller packages probably fits you better.
Lessons are 45 minutes each, one-on-one in our Toyota Corolla with a licensed instructor. The highway lesson is 60 minutes and covers the Staten Island Expressway, the West Shore, and the Verrazzano when you're ready for it.
Home pickup anywhere in Staten Island, or office pickup at 97 New Dorp Plaza. Home pickup is $20 more. The 5-hour pre-licensing class can be included in the package or not, whichever you need. We run it on Zoom every Saturday.
Package #2 is 5 lessons. Package #3 is 10 lessons and is the popular choice for students who want more thorough prep. Package #4 is 15. The Beginner Package is the only one that includes the highway lesson.
Depends how fast you want to go. You can book lessons every day if your schedule allows, or spread them out over a few months. The DMV road test appointment runs 4 to 8 weeks out right now, which is usually the slowest part.

Junior permit holders in NYC have to take the road test in a driving school car with dual controls. Ours qualifies. Most of our Beginner Package students are teens getting their first license.
Yes, every road test taker in New York needs the MV-278 certificate from a state-approved 5-hour class. If you've already taken it somewhere else, pick the Beginner Package version without it and save $25. If you haven't, pick the version that includes it and we'll run it on Zoom on Saturday.
Yeah, we book single refresher lessons for licensed drivers who want to get more comfortable on the expressways or parking in the city. Call us.
