25 driving lessons, a highway lesson, the DMV road test appointment, and our car on test day. It's the biggest package we offer at our Staten Island driving school. Built for people who've never driven. If you've been behind the wheel before, one of the smaller packages probably fits you better.
Lessons are 45 minutes each, one-on-one in our Toyota Corolla with a licensed instructor. The highway lesson is 60 minutes and covers the Staten Island Expressway, the West Shore, and the Verrazzano when your permit or license allows that route and your instructor considers you ready.
Staten Island pickup covers the first 24 regular lessons and the highway lesson; follow your confirmation for the final regular lesson and road test meeting point. You can also select office-start lessons at 97 New Dorp Plaza. The regular pickup rate is $20 more per lesson; the selected package card shows its current regular or sale total. The 5-hour pre-licensing class can be included in the package or not, whichever you need. We run it on Zoom on Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM; additional Saturday sessions may be available.
Package #2 is 5 lessons. Package #3 is 10 lessons and is the popular choice for students who want more thorough prep. Package #4 is 15. The Beginner Package is the only one that includes the highway lesson.
Packages are valid for three years, provided you stay in communication with us and we agree on clear expectations. We understand that life happens. If you need to pause, contact our office so we can agree on a plan for resuming. An extended absence without communication does not guarantee that you can resume lessons automatically.

Yes. Students must have a valid learner permit and meet the DMV requirements for their age and license class. We provide a dual-control training vehicle. Junior permit practice and junior license driving have different restrictions in NYC; ask the office about your situation before booking.
Before scheduling, you must meet the DMV pre-licensing requirement. This may be an MV-278 certificate, an MV-285 driver education certificate, or electronically reported completion of an approved online course. Choose a without-class package only if you already meet the requirement. Our course meets live on Zoom on Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM; additional Saturday sessions may be available.

Both locations offer private instruction. Brooklyn lessons meet at our Bay Ridge office. Staten Island offers office-start lessons and selected pickup packages; check the exact product for its inclusions.
