Yes - and this is actually one of our specialties. Many of our students come to us after failing elsewhere, sometimes multiple times. Our instructors will identify exactly what went wrong, rebuild your confidence, and prepare you specifically for the test route at your Brooklyn or Staten Island DMV location. We also offer road test car rental so you can take the test in a car you already know.

Yes - New York State requires every first-time driver to complete a 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course before being eligible to schedule a DMV road test. The course covers New York traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, road safety, and DWI awareness. We offer the NYS-approved 5-Hour Course at both our Brooklyn and Staten Island locations every weekend. The class is conducted live with a certified instructor. Upon successful completion, you will be issued your official MV-278 certificate. It will be available for pickup at our office once processing is complete. Advance registration is required, as seating is limited.
Yes. We offer road test car rental at both locations. You'll take your test in the same type of vehicle you practiced in - dual controls, familiar feel, no surprises. Our instructors can also ride with you to the test site and do a warm-up drive beforehand so you're sharp when it counts. It is one of the biggest advantages we offer over schools that just drop you off cold.
Yes. A lot of schools skip highway lessons or treat them like an afterthought - we take them seriously. We offer dedicated highway driving lessons from both our Brooklyn and Staten Island locations covering real NYC driving: the Belt Parkway, Staten Island Expressway, FDR Drive in Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Verrazzano Bridge, and highway routes out to JFK and LaGuardia airports. We even do lessons into New Jersey for students who need it. If merging, lane changes, bridges, or highway speeds make you nervous, a few sessions with us will change that completely.
Our instructors speak English, Arabic, Russian, and Filipino. The road test itself is conducted in English, but if you have limited English proficiency we will make sure you fully understand what the examiner will ask and expect before you ever get in that car. Being comfortable with the language of the test is part of being prepared for it.
