The number of lessons varies by student. Most beginners benefit from 10-15 lessons. Our instructors will assess your skill level and recommend the right number of lessons for you.
The 5-hour pre-licensing course is required by New York State before you can take your road test. It covers essential driving safety topics and is included in all our packages.
Yes. All our packages include a car for your road test. We use well-maintained Toyota Corollas that are easy to handle.
We handle all road test scheduling with the NY DMV for you. Once you're ready, we'll book your appointment and prepare you for test day.
We proudly serve students from all 5 boroughs of New York City. Please note that pickup service is currently only available through our Staten Island office. Our Brooklyn location in Bay Ridge does not offer pickup at this time. Students travel to our Bay Ridge office, which is conveniently located just 3 blocks from the R train. Many students prefer taking lessons in Bay Ridge because it offers a strong learning environment. The area provides a mix of busy avenues such as 5th Avenue and 3rd Avenue for real traffic experience, along with quieter residential streets that help beginners build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
Yes. We offer lessons 7 days a week. During the winter months, lessons run from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last lesson starting at 4:00 PM. During the summer, we extend our hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM to accommodate increased demand and longer daylight hours. We also have multiple cars and instructors available, which allows us to offer greater scheduling flexibility and availability.
Yes. If you have a preferred instructor, you may request them when booking your lesson. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability. That said, we do recommend trying lessons with different instructors. All of our instructors follow the Super Starz standard of teaching, but becoming comfortable driving with different people can be very beneficial. On the day of your road test, you will be in the car with a DMV examiner you have never met before, so building confidence with different instructors can help you feel more prepared and at ease.
We understand that everyone’s situation is different. If you are unable to pay in full, please call our office at 718-921-2666 and we will be happy to discuss available payment plan options with you.
Yes. We have worked with many agencies in the past that provide access to driving lessons for low income New Yorkers, at risk youth, immigrants, and other community members in need of support. While our standard pricing is firm, we are open to partnerships. If your agency is interested in working with us, please send us an email and contact our office directly. Depending on the size of the group, we may be able to offer group discounts of up to 15 percent.
